Netmage 07, an international festival with the aim of exploring media
innovation in the context of electronic arts, will take place in its seventh
edition in Bologna from January 25th to 27th, and in Ferrara on February 2nd
2007.

Netmage 07, focusing on multi-media design, live media acts and
cutting-edge style, will work as a meeting point for video-makers,
multi-media and visual artists, musicians and performers from Europe, South
and North America, Australia and Japan.

In its ongoing investigation, Netmage 07 will present some of the latest
trends in live media. Together with research on essential aspects of
perception and the intersection of visual and acoustic phenomena, the
festival will introduce a very wide range of approaches.

The festival, held in the historical castle of Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna,
will include live-cinema, performances, mixed media, installations and a
series of special events featuring international guests performing live
electronic music along with an innovative use of images. A second part of
the festival, Sound Dissection, dedicated to the anatomy of sound, will take
place at the Anatomical Theatre of Ferrara.
